London’s New Year’s Day Parade, one of the World’s great street spectaculars, is being made available free of charge to US TV stations and news networks.

The event, which is celebrating ’30 Magical Years’ entertaining London, can be shown live or pre-recorded for delayed transmission or news inserts.

More than 8,000 performers from numerous nations will make their way along the 2.2-mile route before some of London’s most iconic buildings.

Around 20 marching bands and 1,500 cheerleaders from the USA are among the participants.

Olivet Nazarene University Marching Band from Bourbonnais, Illinois, will lead the parade
